Sarah Rachel has a passion for practicing massage and teaching massage therapy and is a board certified instructor with NCBTMB. Sarah has 4 years teaching experience in public schools in all subject matters including art, and comes from a family of teachers. Sarah graduated from Rhode Island School of Design, Providence, RI. and Medical Arts Massage School, in Raleigh, NC. Sarah has been working for over 31 years and has practiced as a Licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist since 2003. She has experience working in a chiropractic center, fitness center, and spas.
Sarah’s approach to practicing and teaching massage is to not focus on one area, but the body as a whole, massaging antagonist muscles, back as well as front to achieve overall effects for health. She integrates different massage techniques including Deep Tissue, Polarity Therapy, Tui-Na, Cranio-Sacral Therapy to provide the most thorough massage. Sarah has a certificate in Pregnancy Massage, Postnatal Massage, Tui-Na Medical Massage, Hot Stones, and Reiki.
